I am a newly practicing licensed psychologist in the Mobile community. My practice includes providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as comprehensive psychological testing, and consultation services. My focused research experience with resilience, mindfulness, stress, health psychology, spirituality, and anxiety paired with my experience working in community mental health, contribute to my ability to work with a wide range of people and psychological difficulties. These difficulties include but are not limited to anxiety-related, depressive, mood and personality disorders, as well as interpersonal and behavioral difficulties. My philosophy integrates evidence-based treatments such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness strategies, which have been shown to be useful for a number of concerns. I also use a therapist-client collaborative approach to form and reach therapeutic goals. I believe mental wellness is influenced by biological, social, and psychological factors, and that treatment often requires a holistic approach to these concerns and how they interact. From this perspective, I aim to aid in reducing symptoms but also facilitate adaptability, resilience, well-health, and prevention of mental health disorders.
