I am a licensed school psychologist who is working toward clinical licensure as well. I am currently providing play therapy for children between the approximate ages of 3 and 10 (may be older if there is some developmental or social/emotional delays). I use experiential play therapy to facilitate the healing of children who have experienced acute or chronic trauma (e.g., physical or sexual abuse, neglect, abandonment, disruption in care taking, attachment problems, witnessing or experiencing violence or tragedy. I am committed to helping children tell their stories in a safe environment so that they can move forward. I am experienced in and passionate about providing mental health services to children from culturally diverse backgrounds and traditionally underserved populations. I have worked in a variety of community settings and overseas in mainland China. I speak Mandarin and I am the mother of three internationally adopted children.
