I serve clients who struggle with long term emotional distress or who have crisis issues in their lives. Clients who are motivated to understand the conscious and unconscious forces and meanings that shape their experience and their relationships to significant others are specially suited to the kind of work I do. I work largely from the perspective of intersubjective psychoanalytic theory and object relations theory. I encourage clients who are so suited to participate both in individual and group therapy in my practice, as I believe this provides greater leaverage for change and growth.
