Dr. Simmons is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in the treatment of anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive spectrum disorders, and relationship problems. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where she specialized in cognitive-behavioral therapy for mood and anxiety disorders. Dr. Simmons is a psychologist in the Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) Program at Rhode Island Hospital and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
