Dr. Simmons is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in the treatment of anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive spectrum disorders, and relationship problems. She works with individuals, couples, and families to help them achieve their personal goals, whether they are coping with a transient problem or seeking help for more long-standing difficulties. **She is not currently accepting clients.** Dr. Simmons received her B.A. from Columbia University and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where she specialized in cognitive-behavioral therapy for mood and anxiety disorders. Dr. Simmons is a psychologist in the Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) Program at Rhode Island Hospital and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
