For over 25 years I have been helping individuals, couples and families reach a mutually satisfying connection with each other. Helping them to deal with their feelings in order to achieve their goals has been a critical component. My vision in being helpful is by being able to promote connection, stability and growth. The clinical and educational experience I have has also led to conducting workshops, presentations and facilitating groups. I take great pride in teaching substance abuse to graduate students from the University of Miami and have written addiction-related articles aimed at helping my colleagues as well. I am also a Certified Addiction Professional and have used my training and experience to focus on working with addiction and those affected by it. Providing education and rebuilding these relationships has led many to take control of their life and reunite with those they care about. My training in Family Systems and experience working with families and couples has led to an appreciation of the importance of having all of the pieces in place before being able to make accurate assessments and effective interventions.
