I have a keen interest in caring for caregivers, couples and families over-burdened by the conflicts and extreme stresses we face living in the 21st century. My experience is lifelong in supporting family members and loved ones living with cancer, alcohol and drug abuse, mental illness, chronic stress and illness, trauma and end of life transitions. Effective and at ease working with individuals, couples, families and groups, I welcome you warmly regardless of ethnic, racial, cultural or sexual identity. My experiential approach harnesses mind, body and spirit in the healing of inner and outer conflicts. As a pastoral counselor and longtime practitioner of yoga, meditation and martial arts, I have broad knowledge and deep respect for multiple faith traditions, the Twelve Step community, those "spiritual not religious" or of no faith. In my view, family therapists are relationship ecologists. My 22 years as a landscape designer in private practice honed my skills and creativity in complex problem solving and peace-making in the context of couples, families, businesses, schools, churches, etc...from large scale master plans to intimate gardens.
