I help heart broken individuals who are struggling with feelings of loss to start the process of healing. At Sound Mind Cafe'- Counseling Center, you receive a welcoming atmosphere that supports wellness. In this non-threatening space we can collaboratively work towards a meaningful plan to relieve your pain. My ultimate goal is to help people move from pain to peace. I have worked with all ages and have a vast array of experience with issues such as addiction, depression and anxiety. The reason I specialize in grief recovery is my own life experiences and personal loss. Malena is a LCSW and a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist®, enabling those dealing with grief and loss to make space for more happiness and richer relationships. Malena has training in CBT, DBT, MI, family therapy, crisis intervention and de-escalation and has worked in residential care and outpatient settings. We believe it's possible to find balance and wellness in all aspects of life. Sound Mind Cafe provides walk-in, same day and scheduled appointments in a welcoming cafe environment. We offer personal development through individual, couple, family and group counseling, learning series and a guided resource center.
