I am a licensed clinical social worker with 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. When I work with a client, I strive to collaborate to solve problems and open up opportunities for each individual to experience themselves, their relationships and life in a more positive, and healthy way. I approach therapy with openness and help clients discover new possibilities for change. My specialty areas are: Attachment Relationship Issues, Anxiety/PTSD, Depression, School and Developmental issues, Childhood/Family Adjustment and Transitional Issues such as divorce, trauma, major life changes, Family Therapy and Parenting. Counseling begins with collaboration on what the client wants from therapy. There are many ways to understand a problem and find solutions to it. These include talking things over, play and expressive therapies such as art and sand tray or cognitive skill building. I tailor my approach to the personality and needs of the client.
