In therapy I aim to engage clients in their process of personal growth and meet them where they are in their change process. Various interventions are used to meet the diversity of clientele that I work with. My personal approach to therapy is supportive of self-care and the influences of family and environmental contexts. My clinical work has encompassed a wide range of people from various backgrounds, cultures, and religious/spiritual affiliations. My specialty areas include: Substance Abuse and Addiction (Teens, Adults, and their family members), PTSD, Family of Origin issues, Anxiety, Depression, Dual-Diagnosis, Gender identity, the GLBTQ community, Student Success, Relationship stressors, and Life transitions. I also offer Substance Abuse Assessments for teens and adults. Includes session, drug screen, and formal write-up tailored for the clients need.
