I work with children, teens, and adults facing challenges such as anxiety or depression. I use a variety of counseling techniques to meet the needs and situation of the client. Much of my experience is in helping children, teens and adults address issues involving: ADD/ADHD, social skills, anxiety, depression, divorce, low self-esteem, self-harm, eating disorders, and loss of a loved one. I offer in office counseling as well as online video conference counseling through Breakthrough.com. My over eight years of experience in counseling have taught me that compassion, empathy, and understanding make up the foundation of a successful counseling experience. I appreciate that every client's issues and circumstances are different so I tailor services to meet individual needs drawing from a variety of techniques. As a former school counselor for Loudoun County Public Schools, I have a unique understanding of school-related issues and often collaborate with parents as well as school personnel to help a children and teens reach their goals.
