I help people feel better about their lives and relationships. In my 20 years as a therapist it has been gratifying to assist my clients to overcome depression, anxiety or trauma. I also specialize in couples therapy and find it rewarding to watch people move from conflict to resolution while developing the skills and insight to feel more appreciation, pleasure, and satisfaction with their partner. Through using an approach called Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) couples rediscover genuine connection. Additionally, I specialize in helping adolescents (ages 10 up) gain skills and confidence to be successful in school and peer / adult relationships. I do not believe "one size fits all", and instead offer an individualized approach, focusing on your unique strengths and experiences to help tailor therapy to your needs and goals. The initial goal is to create a trusting safe place where your needs can be expressed and change can occur.
