Each client and each situation deserves respect and value. Clients need to co-create their therapeutic experience to allow for personal growth. I utilize a blend of cognitive behavioral, emotionally focused and transgenerational therapies to guide and nurture that growth. My experience is in individual, child, couple and family therapy. I work with those individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, parenting/blended family issues as well as eating disorders and weight loss issues. My couples work includes premarital counseling, trust issues, stress issues and relationship building. In addition to being a licensed marriage and family therapist, I have 27 years of experience as a licensed special education teacher and developmental specialist. This has allowed me to develop many skills working with children and families. I add experience to a variety of child and family-centered issues.
