Are you struggling with a difficult marriage, parenting issues, post divorce problems or other trying family situations? Are you having difficulty as caregiver to an elderly parent or relative? Relationships can be difficult. I can help you decrease your anxious worry and gain the skills to improve communication patterns that are ineffective. I have advanced training in geriatric care for the patient and the family. I also am trained in couples work and also in preventing parent alienation issues for families going through a divorce. I am a former middle and high school teacher and work well with adolescents and college age clients. I have spent years training in family Systems Theory and feel qualified to help clients see how their emotional thinking is in conflict with rational thought. I have also completed advanced training at Harvard in Mindfulness, Spirituality and Psychotherapy and teach relaxation through meditation and breathing exercises to clear the mind.
