In a world full of conflict and brokenness, it is tempting to give up the fight and feel defeated in this life. Yet I believe there is hope for freedom and peace in every individual, and I desire to journey alongside you as you find that hope for yourself. I offer professional, biblically-based counseling to individuals/couples of all ages at low-cost. My gentle, laid-back approach encourages emotional safety and client-counselor collaboration. While I enjoy all ages, I love working with adolescents and their parents, as I have nearly 10 years of experience in this area. I believe that our most basic struggle is dealing with concerns of identity and purpose. Underneath all of our symptoms, we all struggle with the same questions, "who am I?" and "why am I here?" I hope to guide individuals towards a fuller understanding of their true value and purpose. I incorporate insight-oriented, cognitive-behavioral, and art therapy approaches into my counseling. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and desire to help victims of trauma, specifically sexual abuse. Additionally, I am a certified PREPARE/ENRICH instructor, If you are seeking pre-engagement/pre-marital counseling.
