Many of the traditional therapies are time consuming and expensive. The Solution Focused Therapy approach allows the client to focus on the relevant, celebrate successes and focus on desired outcomes. Trauma of the past or other outside influences do not have to be resolved in order to address the issue with which you may be struggling. This approach is helpful to those who are concerned about their substance use or seeking help for the first time. My counseling experience has provided me with a comprehensive perspective regarding effective therapeutic approaches and techniques. My approach is very specific to focus, duration and outcomes. The client drives and ends the counseling process. With over 20 years of experience in the substance abuse treatment field, I am uniquely qualified to assist families, employers, Court systems and health care providers with assessment, intervention and treatment for those with substance use issues as well as how it effects the marriage, job and their community.
