Life is often harder than we expect. Transitions, stresses, becoming stuck in a relationship is all a part of a normal life. If you are open to another way of thinking about your life, counseling can help. Your motivation to make changes is the path to a happier, easier and healthier life. I welcome the opportunity to work with all who want more out of life. I practice from a Bowen Family Systems perspective. This means that I work with individuals and couples to become clearer in their thinking about the relationships with their families, spouse, children and others. I work to lower anxiety so that thinking can guide you. My counseling space is in the Independent Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Al. While I am clear about my own religious beliefs, I do not impose them on others. While each person if free to find their path for them self, no one must find it by them self.
