My years of experience counseling youth has provided the foundation for training educators and counselors to work with at-risk youth and their families. Intervention strategies, curriculum/resource review, parent communication skills, and research updates are a few of the areas covered in this training. I am no longer working with individuals due to the travel requirements for this training schedule. As a trainer and consultant, areas of spcialization are centered around work with youth. Although no longer working in the field of chemical dependency, I make an effort to point out important current issues. Brain physiology research has made tremendous strides in recent years and relevant information is also included in training.
