I treat my clients as intelligent adults; no "how does that make you feel?." For over 25 years I have helped people with anxiety, depression and the variety of problems we all encounter as we go through our lives. I can help with those times when things have just "piled up", or when genetics and circumstances conspire to overwhelm our usual coping techniques. I use short-term, effective, goal-directed therapy. I specialize in treating anxiety and mood disorders (depression, etc). My approach is cognitive-behavioral. In other words, I help you identify those flaws in thinking which lead to changes in mood and increased anxiety. For the past 16 years I have worked at Wellspring Healthcare Associates in Rogers, AR. Wellspring is a group practice of seasoned clinicians specializing in every aspect of mental health, from play therapy with small children through geriatrics and marriage counseling.
