I look forward to working with clients who are motivated to work through life transitions (college transitions, marriages, divorces, parenthood, loss) as well as those experiencing mood and anxiety challenges. I have experience working with students, medical patients, sexual minority clients, veterans, individuals involved in the criminal justice system and elderly individuals. I look forward to hearing from engaged, motivated individuals who are eager to work toward bettering their lives. Although understanding where patterns originated is important, my approach tends to focus more on the here and now and less on deep exploration of childhood and family experiences, unless warranted. I am action-oriented and goal-directed and try to balance challenge with support in working with my clients.
