I have a two-part philosophy of therapy, and of life, too, I guess. I believe that we do the best we can with what we have at any given moment, and, when we are ready to change, we do. People come to therapy because something is not working and needs to change. I have worked well with those who are working through trauma and/or depression and have lost sight of their ability to change or are unsure of what change would look like. I work with clients to build the change they want at their pace. I have Master's degrees in counseling and divinity as well as training and experience in working with trauma, relationship problems, and mood disorders. You, however, are the expert on you. I believe we both bring our knowledge and experience together to help you find your own answers. I believe in focusing on your strengths while acknowledging and validating your struggles. Change is possible. I look forward to both of us getting to know who you are and helping you to build on that to become the person you want to be.
