Hello, my name is Nicole M. Thweatt, PhD, LMHC. I have been working with individuals, children, and families for over eight years. Current psychotherapeutic services I offer are individual, family, and group. The focus of my services is social skill enhancement, development of coping and anger management skills, conflict resolution, and assertive communication skill training. Therapeutic approaches that this provider utilizes include cognitive, cognitive-behavioral therapy, brief-solution focused, play therapy, and psycho-education. This provider also has experience working with domestic violence victims, family conflict; trauma related incidents, childhood mental illness, behavioral and adjustment issues, as well as mood and anxiety disorders. I provide in-home and in-school therapy as well. I do have a Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Contract (TANF), Community Based Care (CBC) Contract, and Family Service Planning Team Contract (FSPT). I accept Cigna and CMS insurance. I recently finished my PhD in General Psychology.
