I believe that every person is unique and capable of change and every individual needs to be heard rather than labeled. I prioritize the relationship first and this includes our counseling relationship, your relationship with yourself and with others in your life. My goal is for you to be the hero of your story; I am a catalyst to assist in the journey. With guidance and genuine caring I will walk with you using a positive and strengths based approach. My counseling style integrates several different therapeutic theories, styles, and techniques, depending on what best fits your needs. I draw strongly from a Solution Focused and Relational Cultural Theory perspective while incorporating the Nurtured Heart Approach into the work I do.
