Struggling with relationships, disturbing emotions, traumatic pasts, despair, addictions, utter confusion, all of this has meaning and the potential to propel us toward a better life. My job is to help people understand the process of what's happening and provide tools, skills and insights to navigate not just this situation, but future ones as well. So often people focus on symptoms instead of causes. Sometimes it's about managing symptoms, but more often there awaits an opportunity to get to the root and grow through and beyond this obstacle, to be more aware, capable and resilient than ever before. I have come to know that we learn as much or more by experience than by conversation. Our deepest learning is when we know something in our heads, our hearts, and at a gut-level. Otherwise, an idea by itself often doesn't bring about real change and lasting peace. I use a variety of experiential methods to explore, heal and deeply transform what's happening. That said, I begin by getting your goals and I honor the direction and scope of work that we set together. It is a safe and respectful path that enables us to go far.
