I feel best suited to work with adult men and women who struggle with depression, anxiety, and/or a sense of powerlessness which limits their participation in life whether it be work, love or play. I am particularly interested in working with adults who are aware of sexual misuse in their childhood or adolescence which may be continuing to have influence on their current situation. I want to provide a space where the unique stories of each client may be named, felt and explored in light of their current relationships for the purpose of finding hope for the future. I am also interested in helping couples learn how to love and honor each other in their marriage. I am most excited about couples being willing to learn from each other in the midst of the conflicts and being willing to be influenced by each other. I am part of a multi-disciplinary group of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and professional and pastoral counselors committed to ongoing professional development, research and weekly supervision in order to provide the best relational care possible.
