I began working in the Autism community in 2007, providing direct support to individuals in group home settings. After earning my MS in Mental Health Counseling in 2012, I worked with the Institute for Family Centered Services in Cleveland and Gaston counties and Firmly Rooted Counseling & Consulting in Davidson, NC. As co-founder of Halcyon Mental Health, I currently provide services for individuals and families affected by issues including Autism, anxiety, LGBTQ issues, and other relationship concerns. With the right support, you can create your calm today. My clinical services incorporate talk therapy and active interventions to address the issues being treated in therapy. This unique approach creates opportunities to gain insight, while learning and practicing new skills. These interactions foster confidence in one's use of these skills outside of the session. Through our electronic health record system, Halcyon Mental Health adopts the latest technology to reduce the hassles of scheduling and paying for therapy. Clients can view live schedules, set their own appointments, and payments are handled automatically. We believe this allows you to focus more on the things that matter.
