I am currently seeing clients for psychological and psychosexual evaluations only. I am licensed in Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, and as a Sex Offender Treatment Provider and Evaluator. I have over 20 years of general counseling experience, and greater than 20 years experience treating and evaluating sex offenders. I am a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA) since 1997. I provide consultation to programs, treatment providers and evaluators wanting to evaluate and evolve their services to sexual and non-sexual criminal clients. I served six years in the U.S. Navy and then earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia. I earned my Master's Degree in Community Counseling from Adams State College and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Additional training included a Mindfulness Retreat with Thich Nhat Hanh in Wisconsin, and a Jesuit retreat in Illinois. I encourage my clients to help their clients take responsibility through increased awareness of patterns of thinking, believing, feeling and behaving. My techniques may include cognitive-behavioral, existential, Adlerian, and mindfulness techniques. .
