I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in children, adolescents, and families. Specific areas of focus include ADHD, defiance and aggression, depression, anxiety, and other concerns that create conflict within the home. Sessions with me typically include both parent and child, either together or separately. This ensures that the child is learning skills that will help him/her manage his/her environment, the parent is learning how to encourage the use of the skills in the home environment as well as how to effectively react to the child's behavior, and both are learning how to communicate with one another. In addition to counseling, I also provide psychological and neuropsychological assessments, including testing for ADHD/Learning Disabilities. My assessments include interview, questionnaire, and standardized tests that will allow for a clear picture of how the child's cognitive and neuropsychological profile are impacting his functioning within his environment.
