Welcome! My practice is open to children, adolescents, and adults looking for a supportive environment in which to explore and resolve challenges. My approach to counseling is collaborative and strength-based while my style is empathic, genuine, and accepting. Together we can expand awareness of self and gain insight into how learned patterns of reacting and relating might be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling life. I work with individuals of all ages but have specialized training with children, adolescents, and families. I greatly enjoy working with people from different cultural backgrounds. I have level II training in EMDR, training in sand tray therapy, mindfulness, and other experiential techniques that lend to my creative approach to helping. Combining counseling with my background in exercise physiology provides me with holistic framework to help clients explore how emotions and thoughts affect the body. Difficulty maintaining a healthy weight, pain, and tiredness are often symptoms of emotional distress. I help clients rediscover their capacity to make healthful choices that will help them flourish.
