I view therapy as a collaborative process between myself and the individuals, couples, and families I work with. You have the unique knowledge of your life story and I have the traning and experience of supporting people to resolve problems that have become difficult to overcome in their lives. We use our knowledge and skills together to identify solutions that are right for you. I have experience working with people who have been challenged by depression, anxiety, trauma, identity issues, feelings of isolation, relationship issues, communication difficulties, adjustment to life's major changes such as divorce, marriage, recent addition or loss to a family, child rearing and parenting issues, and school related issues. I strongly believe in therapy being a place where a person is supported rather than judged. I believe a person should be fully listened to, and collaborated with to identify changes that are comfortable and positive for them. If a change does not feel right for you, it will be respected.
