Are you seeking counseling and support to deal with a personal problem or crisis -- or to prevent one? Good mental health allows for strong personal resilience, overall health and well-being. I provide therapy to help adults improve their coping skills to deal with the stressors and challenges in their lives -- in the home/family, in social situations, at work, or in community environments. As a psychotherapist, I address issues that include anxiety and depression, grief and loss, relationship problems, family dynamics, conflict resolution, aging, parenting skills, caregiver stress, phase of life transitions, trauma recovery, and acculturation. My practice is informed by experience at several mental health clinics in the Twin Cities. I have also served as Director of Family & Youth Services at a local community center, directing programs and providing counseling/therapy and groups for children, teens, parents, seniors and families, immigrant/New American communities.
