In today's world, many of us feel bombarded by increasing demands, fewer resources and interactions that leave us feeling unfulfilled. The pressures placed upon us by society and ourselves can become a heavy burden to carry alone. I provide a relationship and place of understanding, respect and learning to help you better manage your feelings and thoughts. When working with adults, my approach is to explore together the areas in life that feel stuck, hopeless or painful and gain understanding how to move in a direction that is more fulfilling and helpful. My specialty is working with children and their families who have experienced stressful and significant events in their life that get in the way of the child or adult functioning at their best. As a therapist, I have worked with many different types of struggles people face. My education, training and clinical experience has focused on depression, anxiety, attachment issues, behavioral issues, grief/loss, trauma & abuse (child & adult), personality disorders (adults), and parenting issues.
