My goal is to assist clients in making desired changes in their lives to create the difference that leads to lasting happiness, internal peace, and acceptance. I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist, a licensed mental health counselor and founder of Change By Choice LLC. I work with all ages and offer counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. I utilize a variety of styles and interventions to meet client's needs and tailor my work to the individual and their presenting issues. I enjoy working with clients who are invested in themselves and motivated to make positive changes. I specialize in the following areas: depression and anxiety and management, self esteem and self confidence building, and trauma and abuse related issues. I also am competent in relationship and family issues, parenting and behavior management problems, and severe and persistent mental illness (especially OCD).
