Karen Hadley
Psychiatrist, MD
Maitland, Florida 32751

Dr Karen Hadley is a board certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist. She trained in Chicago, Illinois and did her Psychiatry residency at Loyola University Medical Center, and her Child and Adolescent fellowship at Rush Medical College. She served as chief resident or fellow during her time in both institutions. Dr Hadley has spent several years in the inpatient and residential treatment arenas, but has most recently chosen to transition to the outpatient world, as she most enjoys working with patients and their families over the long term. In her practice, Dr Hadley believes it is important to listen to a patient's needs and concerns prior to prescribing medications. She also believes that a patient, or their parent, should have an integral role in their treatment plan. She is a strong advocate of her patients, and a practitioner of evidence-based medicine. Dr Hadley has a background in teaching medical students and residents, and has experience as faculty at MSU College of Human Medicine and as volunteer faculty at the UCF School of Medicine. Her career has involved inpatient and residential care, providing Dr Hadley a unique understanding of medication management in the most complex of patients.
