Sometimes it can be difficult to take the first step to seek help for the emotional and behavioral challenges that may be impacting your child and/or family. I will offer a safe and compassionate environment to explore these issues and start the therapeutic work towards wellness. My practice focuses on working with children, adolescents, and families. I have extensive experience with children and teenagers with a broad variety of issues including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, poor self-esteem, ADHD, psychosis, self-injurious behavior, and emotional and behavioral dysregulation. Whatever the nature of your child or family's difficulties, I will work collaboratively with you to identify goals for treatment. I offer a comprehensive approach that allows children and families to develop healthier ways to cope with difficulties and move forward in their lives. Prior to moving to Virginia, I worked at Boston Children's Hospital providing individual and family therapy to children with acute psychiatric needs.
