Challenges are a part of life! They are made easier once we realize that we control our responses to them. Making those changes are easier said than done - but for anyone considering therapy - having an open mind is essential to the process. I am an advocate for my clients. Whether the issues are anxiety, depression, or trauma based, I help clients overcome past struggles and help prepare them for future endeavors. No client is the same, neither is a treatment plan. However, I often advise Behavioral Intervention skills such as coping, redirection, self-regulation, anger management, etc. For clients with Trauma issues, I practice TF-CBT (Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and am currently working towards certification through UAMS.
