I value the importance of providing a safe and comfortable relationship while exploring issues from a humanistic perspective. I have a special interest in working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues including break-ups, anger management, life transitions and academic/career related conflicts. Dr. Rappaport received his Ph.D. from Florida State University and completed his internship at the University of California Medical School, San Francisco. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Miami and has published in the area of anxiety. As the Training Director at the University of Miami Counseling Center, Dr. Rappaport has supervised many predoctoral interns and graduate students. He is a Past President of the Dade County Psychological Association and a former Ethics Chairman. Dr. Rappaport is an American Board of Professional Psychology Diplomate in Clinical Psychology.
