As a psychologist, I have worked with a large number of culturally diverse people suffering with an array of emotional concerns. I have a combined 29 years of experience as the clinical director of three large outpatient clinics. I offer goal-oriented, child, adult and couples therapy from a Cognitive Behavioral and Positive Psychology framework. I have expertise in dealing with depression, anxiety, family conflicts and relationship difficulties. I enjoy the time I spend with adolescent and young adult clients. I provide support and counseling to intellectually gifted individuals. I also hold a certificate in corporate psychology from NOVA University. As President of Assessment and Educational Consultants, Inc., I offer Psycho-educational testing for giftedness, learning disabilities, information processing problems, and attention deficit disorders. I offer consultation regarding the appropriateness of seeking testing accommodations for academic placement or qualifying examinations. I provide evaluation reports to local schools, universities and disability offices. Over the years, I have helped many achieve their personal and professional goals, develop richer relationships, enhance their communications and find an empowered sense of themselves.
