I believe the cornerstone of creating change is a strong therapeutic alliance..an affirmative working relationship between client and therapist. Our past is a part of our current functioning, in that behaviors and attitudes that once helped us survive can sometimes become outdated and problematic. Therapy is one way to help people "revise" their survival tools and live a more enriching and fulfilling life. I provide psychotherapy to adults and my areas of specialization include relationship issues, depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, sexuality and gender identity/transition. I also have extensive experience working with personality disorders, mild eating disorders, identity issues, stress management, bereavement, self-esteem, career issues, personal growth and self-understanding. In addition to counseling, Dr. Sager provides psychological Evaluation, Executive and Academic Coaching, Organizational Consultation, Specialized Training or Workshops, and Keynote Presentations.
