I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified alcohol and drug counselor in Kentucky and an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Morehead State University and my Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky. I am a member of the National Association of Social workers. I have experience working with adults and adolescents providing individual, couples, and Family therapy focusing on both mental health and chemical dependency issues. I have been working in the addictions and mental health fields since 1997. I am a firm believer in a person's ability to change and believe that through the therapeutic experience an individual can re-shape their life and achieve their desired goals. I have a strong belief in self-determination and personal responsibility in the therapeutic process.
