My work focuses on individuals, couples, and families that are struggling with disconnection and hopelessness in their relationships and life circumstances. I have experience working with people who are dealing with infidelity, failures in communication, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I work with kids, teens, and parents who are working through difficult emotions associated with divorce, abuse, and loss. I am emotionally focused and attachment based in my approach however I use a variety of interventions. I desire to provide all of my clients a safe place to experience themselves and others and rediscover hope. My work with couples focuses on improving intimacy and emotional connection and supporting partners who are experiencing crisis issues. I work with kids/teens that are experiencing depression, anxiety, anger, and grief. I provide help to parents wanting a better connection with their child. I also provide pre-marital counseling. Prior to practicing marriage and family therapy, I served for 18 years in a variety of ministry settings that include African missions, college ministries, and youth and family work. I have been married 24 years and have three children. My practice locations offer a comfortable, peaceful, and confidential setting.
