Welcome ~ It is a great honor to be included in one's journey toward healing and wellness. About me and my practice: I provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults. Please note that I do not currently accept Medicaid/Medicare. I combine a solid background of clinical mental health with my belief in the connection between body, mind, and, spirit. This fits well with my specialization in trauma treatment, and is useful in all areas of personal growth and healing. I believe every person has within them the tools necessary for wellness and fulfillment. I have advanced training in EMDR and have Level 2 Certification for Emotional Freedom Technique. Many mental and physical symptoms can most often be connected to an unprocessed trauma. Each of these approaches can quickly and effectively aid in healing, and I regularly integrate them into my practice. In addition to these therapeutic approaches, I fully support their combination with a variety of alternative healing techniques. Mindfulness, meditation, yoga, energy work, massage, reiki, and acupuncture are just a few that support the crucial connection between mind, body, and spirit.
