I specialize in psychotherapy with adults. Special interest areas include: psychotherapy with men, feminist issues, couples therapy, and moral development. My 'typical' client is intelligent and responsible as well as anxious or depressed. Many of my clients experienced emotional neglect in early or adolescent development and are now seeking to get 'unstuck' from those patterns. Clients have shared that they like my active, engaged style. Good listening is the prerequisite for understanding.
