Transition is a part of every person's life. Each of us inhabits many roles in our lives and personal transition often has a significant effect on ourselves and our relationships. My practice, Next Chapter Counseling, focuses on the struggles and issues that arise during life's transitions. My hope is to help people meet their therapeutic goals through both a better understanding of the roles in their life and an awareness of how their thoughts and perceptions of life's events directly affect their mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. People's roles are directly connected to their relationships and transition often gives rise to relationship issues. Anxiety and depression can also be a part of the unrest involved in transition. But focusing on the person first, and the struggle second, is the best path to achieving therapeutic goals. APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY MORNINGS AND AFTERNOONS AND SUNDAY AFTERNOONS. I cater to clients who need to make their appointments on the weekends. Appointments are also available on a limited basis on Thursday and Friday evenings.
