Everyone experiences difficult or emotional situations. Sometimes, it can be difficult to cope with changes that feel overwhelming. You may be facing a divorce, or an important decision in your parenting, work, or life transitions. My practice is devoted to helping children, adolescents, adults, and families work through family and parenting issues, which may include separation, divorce, remarriage, blending their families, loss and/or grief. I bring my current experience as a counselor, my former experience in family and child development, and my personal family experiences with divorce, remarriage, and parenting, to each client. I approach my clients' concerns in a variety of ways, while remembering that all families and people are unique. I respect each of my client's individual and varied needs as well as personal goals. I model a supportive and caring relationship, but can be direct when necessary. I specialize in: Individual Psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults, Family Therapy, Parenting Evaluations, Co-Parent Counseling, Therapeutic Visitation, Family Reunification, Parent Coordination, and the formulation of parenting plans.
