Clients describe me as real, engaged, nonjudgmental and committed to talking about who they are and what they would like to address. I believe that the foundation of all successful psychotherapy is in the therapeutic relationship - the creation of a safe, non-judgmental, experience that allows you to focus on gaining a better understanding of your self and your relationships. It is in this environment that psychological work and healing can occur and one is able to gain the insight necessary to create enduring changes and achieve desired results. The last 9 yrs I have practiced in community mental health, providing me with the opportunity to work with a wide variety of complex individuals, couples and families - I am excited to bring this knowledge to my private practice. I have extensive experience working with PTSD, domestic violence, relationships, co-occurring disorders, depression, and more.
