I'm an experienced therapist with a masters degree in psychology and a doctorate in marriage and family therapy. I provide counseling for individuals, couples, and families. I treat clients struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment to life changes, grief, trauma, pornography/sexual addictions, decision-making, and relationships. In couples therapy, I work with clients to improve their relationship, resolve problems, and enhance communication and closeness. Additionally, I have experience working with couples dealing with infidelity, illness, and other life-changing events. I also work with parents, children, and families with relationship struggles as well as behavioral and emotional issues, including blended/step families. In particular, my experience treating infidelity is supported by the research that I do on this topic as a faculty member of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at UNLV. I also have training in the treatment of sexual/pornography addictions. Additionally, I give group presentations and workshops on topics related to individual and relationship well-being, stress management, depression, dating, preparation for marriage, marriage enrichment, interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, parenting, and solving interpersonal problems in the workplace. I've presented to professional organizations, business groups, religious groups, clergy, social groups, and youth groups.
