There are many reasons why people choose to explore how therapy can help with the challenges in life, marriage, parenting and moving forward from past painful events. No matter the reason, therapy is a unique experience for each individual and it begins with developing a therapeutic relationship in a compassionate environment without judgement. Everyone (including children) has internal wisdom in how to heal, grow, & experience life from their most authentic selves. I strive to create an environment for you to explore your experiences, feelings, beliefs & relationships while giving a voice to all parts of yourself in the process. With 23 years of experience working with children, I offer a caring, therapeutic setting that is unique to the needs of children. By adding play therapy and expressive arts techniques, children have the opportunity to express the emotions & experiences that sometimes lead to behaviors that may require extra support & understanding. My practice also includes supporting those affected by adoption experiences, & recovering from traumatic events. Traumatic experiences include many situations, & I honor the experiences that carry the meaning of being traumatic for you.
