I use a Bowen Family System's Theory focus. Together we will develop your family diagram and take an objective look into the multi-generational patterns of emotional functioning that exists including perceptions, expectations, familial anxiety and resiliency etc... . While learning System's Theory you will develop insight into the human condition and gain an ability to self regulate your emotional reactivity in relationships which will promote your sense of well being and self care. I am experienced in treating: substance abuse, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, childhood trauma and relationship conflict in marriages, partnerships, families & other significant relationships including parenting & in the workplace. I have worked in the helping profession, in Jacksonville, for 28 years. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1995. In addition I'm a Certified Employee Assistance Professional and my services may be contracted through your employer's EAP. I'm also a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) regulated by the DOT. I'm available by appointment from 7am to 5 pm daily plus Saturdays. My office is located in Park Point; a small office park on Atlantic Blvd near Episcopal High School and the Hart Bridge. There are only two clinicians in the practice so you will have a private waiting area.
