Life is filled with transitions -- we plan for some, and others are unexpected. I specialize in working with clients who are facing divorce, loss, and other transitions. I worked for several years as a paralegal specializing in family law and criminal defense prior to pursuing a graduate degree in counseling psychology. This has been particularly helpful in working with clients facing divorce and related life changes. My goal is to help you work through your feelings and make positive decisions as you navigate your personal set of circumstances. Over the span of my career, I've worked extensively with clients experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, grief and trauma, substance abuse, and divorce and family challenges. I provide solution focused therapy while providing support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I'm a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, and associate member of the Florida Bar Association, Family Law Division. I provide clinical supervision for registered mental health interns, and have years of experience as a clinician and administrator in residential and outpatient behavioral health facilities.
