I believe the key to a therapeutic relationship is that there is safety, comfort and trust. I am a licensed clinical social worker with 32 years of experience. I work with clients from ages 14 to 90. I have worked in various settings with diverse clients over the years, which has afforded me the opportunity to connect with many. I have learned that many people begin therapy during a period of change or transition. The focus of my work addresses the depression, anxiety and grief often connected with the emotional and physical pain associated as part of life transitions. Many of my clients struggle with chronic illness/pain, further complicating change in their lives. I assist clients with a wide range of community resources, long term care planning and advanced directives when requested. I have committed part of my practice to seeing people in their homes. My practice includes working with people at the end of life. I feel honored to be apart of their journey.
